Highly Disappointing

Unfortunately, our stay at this property was extremely disappointing, and we would not recommend it. The property is located in a rather remote, semi-industrial area, and the entire place feels quite neglected and poorly maintained. The pool area, in particular, looked almost abandoned. There was nobody to welcome us at check-in. Although the self-check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which was probably the only positive aspect of our stay, the whole experience felt very cold and impersonal from the beginning. The biggest issue, however, was the room temperature. We happened to stay for two nights in September when the outside temperature dropped to around 10°C, and the room was absolutely freezing. It was so cold that we barely slept for either of the two nights. We contacted the property and specifically asked for a portable heater or any alternative way to warm up the room, but absolutely nothing was provided. Despite making the owner aware that we had been unable to sleep because of the cold, no solution, assistance, or compensation was offered. Overall, the property felt uncomfortable, poorly maintained, and completely lacking in hospitality. What made the experience particularly frustrating was not just the condition of the accommodation, but the complete lack of effort to resolve such a basic issue as providing guests with a reasonably warm room. We left feeling extremely disappointed and would definitely not stay here again.

L'agriturismo Nestore si trova nell'alta valle del Tevere, vicino a Città di Castello e a Umbertide, e a poca distanza dal fiume. Un luogo molto bello immerso nel verde della campagna umbra, circondato da coltivazioni agricole. La struttura è storica e conservata con cura, il casale principale in pietra è stupendo. La corte ed il giardino sono molto belli, ricchi di piante e fiori. Molto bello anche il piccolo orto in serra, a disposizione degli ospiti. L'appartamento di cui abbiamo usufruito era ampio e ben attrezzato, il grande camino semplicemente fantastico. Solo il bagno meriterebbe un aggiornamento dei sanitari, ma nel complesso ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il personale è cortese e preparato, menzione particolare alla signora Mariolina: una persona squisita, d'altri tempi.
