  Amazing stay - we'll be back just to relax and do nothing this time

  We had an absolutely fantastic vacation - it is a wonderful place if you are looking for peace and quiet, but having a car is definitely essential to get around easily. The hosts genuinely care about their guests and gave us amazing recommendations on what to visit in the area and informed us about local events (like wine festival in Greve). One of the highlights of our stay was the cooking class which was incredible experience - warm, authentic with stories about traditional pasta making. The rooms are very clean, well-maintained and full of Tuscan character. On-site you can feed the goats, take a swim in a pond and enjoy delicious homemade wines. We happened to visit during the grape harvest season and helping with the harvest was unforgettable experience as well. We spent so much time exploring the region that we left craving more time just to stay on the property and relax. We truly can't wait to come back.

  There's really nothing negative to say, but worth keeping in mind: a car is a must due to remote location. Also, this is a countryside so encountering insects should be expected :)

  This place is pure Tuscan magic! The property is beautiful and the farmhouse is so quaint. If you’re looking for an authentic local experience this is the spot. It’s rustic and charming and everything you want when staying in the rolling hills of Chianti. Our lovely host and owner of the property, Simonetta, treated us with such warmth and hospitality. We truly felt part of the family, with her taking extra care knowing we were traveling by bus/train/foot. We spent one full afternoon in Simonetta’s one-on-one cooking class learning how to make tiramisu, tagliatelle, tortellini, and ravioli. The food was incredible and spending those hours in her kitchen were beyond memorable. Plus her family makes delicious wine and olive oil, so it can’t get much better. This is not the place for you if you want a pretentious, impersonal villa with frill and extravagance. But if you want to feel the love Tuscany has to offer from its people, landscape, food and wine, pick this place. You will not regret it.

  Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Agriturismo und haben uns von der ersten Minute an herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Simonetta hat eine unglaublich herzliche und offene Art – schon die Begrüßung war etwas ganz Besonderes. Die Unterkunft selbst hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass Simonetta uns nicht nur jede Menge tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben hat, sondern sich auch dafür interessiert hat, was wir bereits geplant hatten. So konnte sie uns noch den ein oder anderen wertvollen Tipp mit auf den Weg geben. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Öl- und Wein-Tasting mit Giovanni. Obwohl gerade Erntezeit war, hat er sich die Zeit für uns genommen und uns mit viel Leidenschaft und Wissen die Geschichte der Toskana nähergebracht. Wir haben unglaublich viel darüber gelernt, wie man Wein und Olivenöl richtig verkostet – eine Erfahrung, die uns sicher noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Unser absolutes Highlight war dann der gemeinsame Pasta-Abend mit Simonetta. Zusammen zu kochen, anschließend ein leckeres Dinner zu genießen und dabei so viele schöne und interessante Gespräche zu führen, war für uns der perfekte Abschluss unseres Aufenthalts. Wir haben uns hier nicht einfach nur als Gäste, sondern wirklich willkommen und herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt. Es war uns eine große Freude, hier zu Gast sein zu dürfen. Vielen Dank, Simonetta und Giovanni, für diese besondere Zeit.

  Soggiorno rilassante nel cuore del Chianti

  Una vacanza rilassante immersi nella bellezza del Chianti, resa ancora più speciale dalla gentilezza e dalle attenzioni di Simonetta e Giovanni, che ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Torneremo sicuramente con piacere!
