    Viva St Francis!

    This is a beautiful very old , charming, rugged resort. Pure Tuscany. We Americans had language barrier with the owner so she had her daughter communicate on the phone to us. Michalangelo was baptized in the little chapel right on the property. The view is stunning

    Don’t expect pampering even though there is a hot tub and sauna. The stairs are so squeaky the downstairs bedroom would be woken up when we old people had to go down. No real living area but outside was lovely. We turned on the pellet stove which was nice. Owmers gave us a bottle of wine and overall we loved the stay and will have funny memories
