    Unacceptable: Broken elevator, dirty apartment, and host abandoned a family late at night

    Nothing. The only good thing was leaving this place.

    Avoid this place at all costs! We booked two apartments for a family of 8, including small children. Upon arrival late at night, we discovered that the elevator was completely broken, forcing us to haul all heavy luggage up to the 5th floor in extreme heat. Upon entering, the 5th-floor apartment was a total disaster-filthy, uncleaned, and unfit for humans, with leftover pizza, drinks, eggshells on the counter, unmade beds, and no clean sheets or towels. When contacted via WhatsApp, the host explicitly admitted fault in writing, stating: "Unfortunately, this happened because previous guests arrived on the wrong day, which caused an unexpected issue with the apartment’s preparation." He offered a partial refund for only half of our booking. However, when I asked for a proper solution so our small children could sleep, he cut off all communication and completely vanished into the night. Because of his abandonment, our family suffered an absolute nightmare: we were forced to split up in the middle of the night. Half of our family had to wander the streets to find and pay out-of-pocket for an emergency last-minute hotel nearby just so the children could sleep. To make matters worse, after severing contact with us, the host audaciously refused any refund at all and completely ignored official inquiries from Booking.com's customer service team. The host's total lack of accountability and disrespect ruined our stay. Save yourself the stress and risk-book somewhere else!
