    Short Getaway from the city

    Beautiful grounds with lake views. Well kept gardens around the main house.

    The rooms were small, had an odor in the lobby and the bed was uncomfortable.

    Carriage House Stay

    I loved the beautiful grounds at this hotel. Harry’s was wonderful. We ate the 3 times and it was really great. Check in process was quick. Bed was fresh and clean.

    The room was not great. There were multiple Spiders and webs where the wall meets the ceilings. Even right over the bed. Years ago, my husband had a spider crawl in his ear that had to be removed by a doctor. So that was alarming and my husband removed them. Shower was tiny. The heater sounded crazy. SUPER LOUD!

    If your not having an event, the rooms are not really better than a basic hotel, but are expensive.

    The property is lovely, but the rooms were very average. If you are going with a group, and are able to be together the buildings we saw did have a living room type lobb.

    We did not receive the type of room requested, and had to change rooms, but could not get the same bed choice room.
