The apartment is currently located within an active building site and appears to be undergoing significant renovation works. Drilling began, to the apartment below at 07:00 every morning during our stay, there were ongoing works to the roof, and scaffolding was positioned directly outside every window. The stairs and entrance were also covered in construction dust and dirt. Also, concerningly, someone entered our apartment at approximately 15:50, despite our agreed and approved check-in time being 15:00. None of the construction works, scaffolding or associated disruption were disclosed during the booking process. Had we known the extent of the works, we would not have booked the property. We contacted the host, who responded promptly and apologised, but unfortunately no action was taken and the situation remained unchanged. At present, we cannot recommend staying here until the building works are completed. Being unable to sleep beyond 07:00 due to drilling alone made the apartment unsuitable for a relaxing stay. The lack of disclosure is also particularly disappointing, as guests should be able to make an informed decision before booking. Based on our experience, we would avoid this property in future.
