Great apartment in the centre of Watford from a friendly host.
Clear and easy instructions to check in and check out. Nice flat, friendly host, great location just by the city centre, but quiet.
I would have liked to have blackout curtains.

Superb
This property is very professionally run - notably better than most. The location is hard to beat, being very central to amenities and public transportation, yet it doesn't suffer from road or street noise. The beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed, and it had kitchen and laundry facilities, so it's suitable for a long stay. The secure free parking is a valuable feature. (Watford is a very convenient location to start a journey with a car. It's also very well served by good trains).
The windows of this ground floor apartment face onto the carpark, so there's reduced privacy when the blinds are open. And there was a bit of an issue with pigeons making mess outside the front door of the block. In common with many UK apartments, it's hard to get the shower to stay up on the support and the toilet flush lacks oomph (I don't know why plumbing products are so poor there). But it's overall a good value, good quality option. We booked a second stay in the same apartment and would be happy to stay there again next time.
