    Breakfast was very basic but OK and the bed quite comfortable

    Arriving one is met with a rotted out sign and a closed gate leading to a rough track. Accommodation was deathly cold and the promise of heating resulting in one log in the woodburner which raised the temperature by about 0.1 degrees. Lots of eco-rules to follow - it is all very well the owners being eco-warriors but if imposing the same rules on guests this should be made clear in the listing not after payment is taken. Disappointing and poor value for money.

    Recommended for those who prefer country life over the city.

    Nice and quiet tucked away in the country. Very amenable hosts and excellent home cooked breakfast.

    Fabulous

    Beautiful setting and home. Lyndal and Steve are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. As did Gin their gorgeous dog. Fabulous breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much trouble. Wish we had booked for a longer stay. Would highly recommend.
