Convenient stay for a long term vacation of more than a week
The location was great in the heart of Beverly Hills and super easy access to UCLA and other major sites that we were planning to go. Also, it was an area Waymo can easily access therefore was very convenient as some locations the Waymo cannot park right in front of the hotel. It was a residence type room equipped with a full kitchen and washing machine/ dryer for long term stay which was quite difficult to find in this area, but still offering the convenient support of a 24h front desk service. Compared to 4-5 star hotels with similar pricings, the rooms were very spacious for a long term stay. We rented a car for a week and despite the valet costing us 40 dollars a day which is fairly cheap in this area, the parking was super easy and the valet was efficiently done. In addition, we wanted to extend our stay for one more day, and the front desk actioned super quickly and gave us a reasonable rate. Last but not least, the morning coffee service in the lobby was truly appreciated every morning.
The terrace that we were looking forward to was out of service at the time. If such facilities are not accessible, we would have appreciated some heads-up or some sort of refund/complimentary to accomodate for the last minute inconvenience. Also, we emailed a few times way in advance to ensure that we had a working washing machine and a dryer in our room as that was the main reason we chose this stay, only to get a response after few days we arrived. Their email support is horrible. The facility only provides once a week cleaning which was on a fixed day that did not match our schedule. Although they offered cleaning afterwards, it was only towards the end of our stay so we thought it was meaningless, and ended up 9 days without any cleaning which was a bit of a dissapointment. In addition, they offered to bring us extra towels that were randomly placed in a plastic garbage bag and just left in front of our door. I was shocked at the poor level of service here. Also the room looked exactly like the website photos but the dining chairs were all so old and ripped in the sitting area, which ended up tainting our light colored jeans when we sat on the chairs... They should definitely replace all the dining room chairs in such rooms.

Worst travel experience ever
Nothing
I’ve never written anything negative on google, however I had the most unpleasant and frustrating experience at AKA Beverly Hills—easily the worst stay of my life. I requested a quiet room well in advance of my arrival to accommodate jet lag, only to be placed in the only room available: one directly above active construction on Wilshire. The noise was unbearable throughout the entire night, and I didn’t sleep at all. When I went to the front desk to request a move, they claimed there were no other rooms and told me my only option was to cancel for a refund—leaving me to scramble to find a new hotel at the last minute. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was inexcusably rude and condescending. One staff member spoke to me as if I didn't understand English, patronizingly explaining, “In the United States, we call it a refund.” I have lived in the U.S. for 20 years; being treated with such ignorance was deeply offensive and unprofessional. The service issues continued the next morning. I tried calling the front desk for luggage assistance from my room, but no one answered. When I called from my personal cell phone, they picked up immediately—it was clear they were deliberately ignoring calls from my room. Furthermore, when I asked about a $500 security deposit that appeared on my credit card statement, the staff flatly denied the charge and treated me as if I were confused, despite me having the physical payment record in front of me. Communication and management are clearly nonexistent here. While their client service manager later reached out to offer a move to a quiet room, the damage was already done by the hostility and incompetence I experienced throughout my stay. I would strongly advise against booking here if you value your rest or want to be treated with basic dignity.
