    Loved the Algarve. The villa was lovely but had issues.

    Location was great, and the villa was spacious and beautiful. The pool was private and a nice size. It was nice to have the games room downstairs.

    We had a water cut and a flood, but the contact for the property was very difficult to communicate with. They didn't speak English, couldn't understand when we tried to speak Portuguese and did not respond to texts we sent using Google translate. He was surly and uncommunicative. We had to go through the booking.com application in order to get the water cut sorted out. (It was sorted within 24 hours however) The Air Con wasn't worth the 120euros - it was only in the lounge and upstairs landing, not in the bedrooms. The facilities were very basic. Kettle and toaster were cheap and basic. There were no instructions on where the local shops were, how recycling worked etc, and there were no things to get started other than 1 toilet roll in each bathroom. No soap, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets, no dishcloths. The towels and bedding were not changed halfway through as advertised. It's a shame because all of these issues would be easy and cheap to resolve with a little preparation and a more amenable building manager.

    Very good

    the price for what you get is very good , plenty of space so it does not feel like everyone lis living on top of eachother

    the showers were not hot. they got just above lukewarm for about 5 minutes and that's it

    Lovely family sized villa with plenty of room to socialise or have your own space. 10 min drive from Villamoura but some

    Lovely pool. Very spacious accommodation and outdoor verandahs/ terrace. Nice seating areas. Lots of trees nearby with lots of interesting birds (unfortunately that made it noisy in the morning- but I think it was worth it)

    Could have been cleaner. Kitchen mostly well stocked although lacking any reasonable sized glasses (or chopping board). Dishwasher didn’t seem to properly clean dishes and very small kitchen.
