    Nice Apartment

    Nice, modern apartment with good amenities. Quite spacious and very clean. There were lots of snacks and beverages, which I appreciated. Extra towels in the drawer. A/C and tv in both rooms. Electric blackout blinds kept the room dark for sleeping. Pillows were comfortable, and it's always nice to have bedside lamps. Shower was great. Lots of closet space. Washing machine was convenient. Digital entry worked well. Building has an elevator. Location was okay and near the main street heading downhill to the port. Took me 20-30 minutes to walk to most places. Francesco was very nice and quickly called a taxi for me when I couldn't get one on the app. I was so anxious about missing my train, so I was very thankful he responded right away.

    The apartment was incredibly noisy the whole week of my stay. Most of it was due to construction in the lower part of the building and it would start at 8 am every day with very loud banging, hammering, and drilling and continue all day. I was in the apartment a lot so it negatively affected my stay, but it might be fine for those who get up early and spend most of the day outside. There was also an odd mechanical vibration that would happen at night, but I couldn't figure out the source, and some noise from upstairs, like dragging chairs, but not too bad. I would definitely check the status of the construction before booking as it seemed to be an ongoing project. Bed was much too hard for me, but everyone's preference is different.
