It is a heritage building built in 1880. The location is right in front of the theatre. The airport shuttle bus stop is just a few minutes walk away. The place has no lift and is on the third floor.

Fantastic location, great host, lovely room, shower and stairs were low points
Location was excellent. Host was lovely. Rooms were gorgeous.
Stairs were annoying even though I knew when I booked. Cold water in the shower for a whole day. Shower cubicle was horrendous.

Can't get enough of the frescoes
Excellent stay at Al Massimo Piacere. Beautiful frescoes on ceilings and gorgeous marble floors. Furniture is comfortable and many period pieces. We were well aware that this is a 3rd floor walk up and enjoyed the views from this location. If you can't do 3 flights off stairs and bring your luggage, don't stay here. If you want modern, don't stay here. This apartment was built in the 1860's. Cafes at the entrance, shopping steps away.
Nothing, it was wonderful.
