Beautiful, charming and friendly
The staff are absolutely lovely and make you feel really welcomed with lots of small things. The resort is charming and peaceful overlooking the forest and feels a long way away from the crazy Ubud central. The resort is old but very comfortable and charming as a result. Still one of my all time favourite places to stay.

A truly magical and rejuvenating escape!
What an absolutely wonderful place! Located in a beautiful, quiet pocket of Ubud, right next to the Monkey Forest, this hotel offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Despite its peaceful setting, everything you could wish for is within easy reach – amazing cafés, local restaurants, Ayurvedic wellness centres, yoga studios and so much more. The surrounding street is wonderfully quiet, making the location truly special. The hotel itself is simply magical. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, the traditional Balinese-style villas are full of authentic charm and character. The entire atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. It genuinely feels like stepping into another world, where you can slow down, disconnect and simply enjoy being in the moment. The staff are absolutely lovely – warm, welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent quality, and considering how affordable everything is, the value for money is exceptional. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you’re looking to escape busy city life, reconnect with yourself and restore your energy in a truly beautiful and authentic Balinese setting, this is the perfect place to stay. I would absolutely love to return!
