    Hôtel idéalement placé, accueil fantastique dans un hôtel un peu vieillot.

    L'emplacement à la fois au bord du lac et à l'entrée de la vieille ville, le grand professionnalisme et la gentillesse de tout le personnel, les espaces communs, dignes d'un palais, le petit déjeuner délicieux.

    La décoration des étages de l'hôtel et des chambres est vraiment vieillotte, la petite taille de la chambre, la salle de bains bien équipée mais vieillotte également. Le prix est trop élevé.

    Beautiful old school hotel with high standards

    The lakeside location and beautiful views were brilliant and meant we were in the centre of Como but not mixed up in the hurly burly of what is a very busy resort. The hotel has a “belle epoch” interior and is old school grand. Staffing and service are very traditional and of a very high standard. The whole place is immaculately clean and tidy. The views from the substantial balcony terrace were wonderful and provided a quiet spot at the end of the day.

    Whilst breakfast was substantial and very high quality we found the evening menu a little disappointing and expensive. There are better places nearby. One thing that’s not the hotel’s fault but be prepared the mosquitoes on Lake Como are huge and hungry and numerous. Go prepared.
