Licht und Schatten
Anlage an sich top. Zimmer auch und das Essen ist auch super.
Wir hatten ein etwas unangenehmes Erlebnis mit dem Personal und dem Umgang mit einem vermeintlichen Diebstahl eines Handys aus unserem Zimmer.

It was so beautiful and peaceful and best of all the staff were so kind and helpful. Khun Deer especially was wonderful and I am so grateful to her for her help, she made sure I could get to the temple each day and even translated for me and helped me to understand the local culture. She was there to make sure everything went smoothly and always ready to help. She went above and beyond and is an asset to the hotel. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff very attentive especially Lek. It is the staff that makes this place so special each and every one of them were so welcoming and they create a peaceful atmosphere. The massage from nui was brilliant she was also very kind. The room was lovely, very hard-working cleaning staff made sure it was spotless and it was a good size with a beautiful view.

The small villa by the beach was stunning, most of the staff was friendly
I travelled with my 11 year old daughter, who is a well seasoned traveller and has stayed in many 5 star hotels before. At check in i was told quiet rudely by Mrs Deer that the room category i booked was not suitable for children and that i shouldn't have been able to book this category anyway. The manner this was communicated (i still dont understand why they told me this at all because i got the room that i booked and this information did not concern me at all) made me feel extremely unwelcome and when i told the receptionist, she snapped at me and started arguing. Worst check in ever. Furthermore this place shows a lot of wear and tear, many things are not maintained, no real service standards (e.g. really inconsistent breakfast) pool bar opening too late and the food is not what it used to be. This is not a michelin key hotel amd if they dont act soon they will surely lose this recognition.
