Well Appointed but noisy room due to fans, fridges and electrical board.
The room is beautifully appointed, lovely pots with flower arrangements each side of the bed. Bedding was comfortable as was the bed. Pillows fresh and a good size. Lovely balcony out of the French doors. Bottled water in the fridge, nice touch.
The metal plug in the sink is broken. You cannot seal off the sink to wash your face. The cleaners would’ve known this because the cleaning the rooms regularly. The volume of the exhaust fan in the bathroom is excessive. You can also hear other room’s bathroom exhaust Fans plus people going to the toilet etc. It is not insulated well enough. The Electrical box in the room hums all night. That should be placed elsewhere or even outside of the room. The fridge is also noisy, and had to be unplugged. The toilet has been jammed between the shower and the handbasin and there’s no place for the toilet roll to sit. If you put it on the hand basin, it gets wet from the sink. It’s not been a very well thought out design. Also in need of refurbishment, visible signs of grime between the tiles and it all just looks a bit second rate. Also, if staff for are cleaning the rooms, they need to be mindful that not everybody is awake at 8 o’clock in the morning and are on holiday. Their continuous conversation can be disturbing for those that are trying to rest. I have also included a picture of what the toilet look like when I checked into the room. I’m not sure what they clean it with, but that was pretty disgusting.

We’ve just come to the end of our stay at Alegrand Suites, and we’ve genuinely loved our time here. It’s been such a lovely base for exploring Rhodes Old Town, and we would definitely consider staying here again. The location really couldn’t be better. The suites are right in the heart of the Old Town, so you’re literally on the doorstep of all the beautiful streets, restaurants, bars and atmosphere. What surprised us most, though, was how peaceful our room was. Despite being so central, we didn’t hear any noise from outside while we were in the room, which was a huge bonus. Our room was absolutely spotless when we arrived and remained beautifully clean throughout our stay. The bed was also extremely comfortable, which makes such a difference when you’re on holiday. Housekeeping was excellent too. We arrived on Thursday, the room was cleaned on Sunday with fresh towels and bed linen, and it was cleaned again the day before we left, with fresh sheets and towels provided again. We really appreciated that. Communication was another real positive. The WhatsApp communication was consistently quick, smooth and helpful. As we arrived late at night when most things were closed, we were sent photographs of the entrance beforehand, which made finding the building so much easier. That was a small thing, but it made a big difference after arriving late. Even the entrance to the building smells lovely, which gives you a really pleasant feeling every time you come back. There are also some fantastic places practically on the doorstep. Sissito, just around a three-minute walk away, was one of our favourite places we visited during the whole trip, which says a lot about how convenient the location is. If we had to suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of a safe in the room. We would have liked somewhere secure to leave passports, cash and valuables, and we think this would be a worthwhile addition for future guests.
