Freshly renovated apartment near the city center with exemplary hospitality & proper invoice issued
The accommodation matched the description and the pictures in the listing exactly. It was modernly furnished and very well equipped; in particular, the presence of the well-appointed kitchen was a major plus point. The price-performance ratio was great. Particularly noteworthy is the nephew and son of the hosts, who was exemplarily dedicated to ensuring the guests were completely satisfied. As the only English speaker on site, he did an excellent job! Even though he had obviously never done anything like this before, he effortlessly issued a proper invoice, which by no means seems to be a given in Albania. Furthermore, he was always reachable and helpful whenever questions or requests arose. The fact that the originally booked room was not available was no problem at all, as an equivalent room was offered instead and the reasons for this were explained transparently and understandably. The accommodation is located in a visibly newly renovated building in a quiet side street, yet within comfortable walking distance of the city center of Shkodra. The balcony was also pleasant.
A small point of drawback concerns the bathroom. As is unfortunately quite widespread in Albania, there was no shower screen, which is why after every shower the entire bathroom is flooded. In the bedroom, the glass blocks of the window cannot be fully darkened. While the front is already equipped with excellent exterior blinds, a blackout option for the glass blocks would still be a sensible addition. Regrettably, no agreement on price could be reached regarding a requested repeat booking, so it unfortunately did not come about.

Die perfekte Unterkunft in Shkoder
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in einer ruhigen Gasse und es fehlt an nichts. Es ist super sauber, es gibt eine vollausgestattete Küche mit Waschmaschine und Waschmittel, einen tollen Balkon und warmes Wasser. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es ist wirklich alles perfekt.

Zona tranquila y cerca del centro, el alojamiento tiene aire acondicionado aunque no lo necesite, lavadora que si use y cocina que también use. Si vuelvo a Shkoder seguramente intente reservar de nuevo!
