  Unfortunately, my stay at this Airbnb was far from ideal. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated — I had to find internet access exactly two hours before check-in time in order to receive the code for the key box, as their policy didn’t allow sharing it any earlier. This was quite stressful, especially while traveling. The apartment itself wasn’t as comfortable as expected. It’s located on the 4th floor with no elevator, which was not clearly mentioned in the listing, and there were several electrical and practical issues inside. While the location is convenient — close to bus stops and the city center — the overall experience was disappointing. The most frustrating part came with the security deposit. I was asked to authorize my card for a €250 hold, which I agreed to, as this is common practice. However, not only was the amount not released after checkout (despite leaving the apartment in perfect condition), but the host also attempted to charge me an additional €250, claiming it was a “system error” and that the money would be returned. Following that, there were repeated attempts to charge my card for various other amounts (€200, €35, €10), which triggered a fraud alert from my bank, resulting in my card being blocked and requiring replacement — a serious inconvenience during my trip. Communication with the host (which is actually a property management company) was very slow and inconsistent. Even after several days, I received no clear explanation or solution regarding the charges. When I provided screenshots of the actual charges, they simply said they were “not sure” and would “get back to me” — but I’m still waiting. Additionally, for a 9-night stay with 4 guests, we were provided with only two large towels and one roll of toilet paper. There were many other small things missing that made the stay feel cheap and poorly managed. Overall, this apartment did not meet expectations and was not worth the price.
