    Tiny rooms with no amenity and greenwashing scam

    Location

    I booked this for my parents and they did not like that you couldn't make a cup of tea in their room or had a fridge to keep their wine. Had to go down to the common area for this. They opted not to have their room serviced in return for a food and drink voucher which was not honoured. They were told at the Lobby Bar, they could not buy a packet of chips with their voucher because it was a "snack and not food". Total scam! Staff were generally unfriendly bordering on hostile.

    Service sucked and a greenwashing scam

    Location

    I opted not to have my room not serviced for 2 days in return for vouchers which were not honoured - total scam. At checkout, I was not informed of these extra charges made to my card and was not offered a receipt. Have been trying to follow up - they do not answer their phone and do not respond to website enquiries. Staff were generally unfriendly bordering on hostile. I finally got through to staff through messages on booking.com and I asked them to send me a copy of the voucher that supposedly detailed their terms. What they sent me - wasn't it - it was just something printed on a piece of paper - not the grey glossy cardboard I received. They also refer to the "Lobby restaurant" - no such thing. All they serve is an overpriced and very limited continental breakfast for $30!
