Petros & Mary are excellent hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed, including great local drive tips. The home cooked breakfast made from good quality produce was delicious. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Quite location in a small village. A very memorable experience! Thankyou.

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που επιλέγουμε το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο και η τρίτη φορά που επισκεπτόμαστε οικογενειακώς την περιοχή, και μείναμε και πάλι πολύ ευχαριστημένοι. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό, άνετο και προσεγμένο, η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική και το προσωπικό ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Συνολικά, είχαμε μια πολύ ευχάριστη οικογενειακή διαμονή και σίγουρα θα το επιλέγαμε ξανά.
Δεν υπήρχε κάτι αρνητικό στη διαμονή μας. Αν έπρεπε να αναφέρουμε κάτι, ίσως θα ήταν χρήσιμο να υπάρχει μια απλώστρα διαθέσιμη στο δωμάτιο, αλλά πρόκειται για μια πολύ μικρή λεπτομέρεια.

We arrived in Plaisia, near Ioannina, on a Thursday evening, June 18. Although Platanos Tavern is normally closed on Thursdays, Petros, the owner of Hotel Alexandra, kindly contacted the tavern and arranged for them to open especially for us. It was an extraordinary gesture that made us feel truly welcome. Our stay at Hotel Alexandra was wonderful. The accommodation is authentic and full of character, with a spacious inner courtyard that creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring a variety of delicious local products that gave us a true taste of the region. The food at Platanos Tavern was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and generously portioned—all at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the surrounding area is incredibly picturesque, making it a perfect place to experience the beauty of Epirus. A big thank you to Petros and the team at Platanos Tavern for their outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend both Hotel Alexandra and Platanos Tavern to anyone visiting the area!
