    A very relaxed & peaceful stay and a charming, helpful host.

    Though it initially seemed to be a very busy area with lots of housing, I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was in the evenings, and due to the layout of the apartment it was very quiet in the bedroom at night, leading to a peaceful night's rest. The apartment is also only a short walk from both a Lidl store, and a main shopping centre, so food shopping could easily be done either on my way back from a day out, or after getting parked up for the evening.

    The only downside, which is totally out of the control of the host, is the difficulty in parking due to the general layout of Catania's streets, with most properties being at least three floors high leading to streets being quite congested. That said, I was easily able to find parking close by every evening without any problems. The only other thing which was a little confusing was that the television in the bedroom seemed to be able to access more channels than the one in the living room, not quite sure why this would be the case, but it was only a minor issue as I don't speak Italian, so only really watched the sport channel, which was available on both sets.
