    Allerdale House and it's hosts exceeded my expectations and we will be back

    The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Leigh and May were excellent hosts and even provided complimentary freshly baked cake each day - a donation to the mountain rescue could behave if you wanted. Leigh was very helpful and knowledgeable about good walks around the area and provided maps to borrow as well.

    Excellent accommodation with a plentiful breakfast choice. Hosts went out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you are a walker they are very knowledgeable about the area and routes to take. Location is excellent 5 mins from the town centre.
