A Wairarapa attraction in itself. We enjoyed just spending time in the cottage and its location
Loved the whole setup and the attention to detail. Warm welcome from our hosts and a roaring log fire on a cold night. Breakfast and baking was EXCELLENT! The cottage was very tastefully and practically appointed
Not a dislike at all, but a suggestion only...the couch wasn't particularly comfortable if you wanted to watch TV for any length of time. It looks great and matches decor - but was tough on back and buttocks after an hour watching a movie. A small point and offered as a suggestion only. It DIDN'T mar our stay in any way...

A hidden gem, you won't be disappointed
This place is a wee hidden gem. We live in a newer home so I was really excited to stay in a historic farm cottage for a few nights and experience this era with a modern twist. It totally delivered, I was blown away, it was everything I hoped for, cozy couches, comfortable bed, modern appliances that all kept with the era of the cottage. It was peaceful, clean, tidy and spacious, having breakfast available was a great way to start the day. What more can I say, this place was amazing, we totally recommend this place and would stay again. We attended a wedding nearby then stayed an extra night to explore the surrounding area.
I was slightly disappointed I didn't see any farm animals in the paddock beside the cottage 😆

Loved our stay, really nice cottage fitted out with to a very high standard.
Very comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Home baked bread and breakfast provided was such a lovely bonus :)

A comfortable, elegant and quiet retreat . Loved it .
The location was great - partway between Greytown and Martinborough . The cottage was beautifully decorated . It was clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts left a fresh sourdough loaf and home baking for us as well as eggs and bacon .
