    Wonderful oasis in goldmine territory

    Allora House is a real gem, easy to find and very conveniently located for the town and its attractions. It has character, as it is a heritage type property and the bedroom was furnished in a style to suit, with a wardrobe and chest of drawers/dressing table, 2 bedside tables and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The 3 bedrooms all share the one bathroom, but this did not prove to be a problem as Carl ensured the bathroom was well stocked and clean at all times. The kitchenette had a microwave, toaster and kettle, plus water and milk left in the fridge for guests - adequate for my stay. And Carl was a brilliant host, offering advice on where to go and what to do and even helping with transport. The garden was also beautiful!

    Only thing I would have changed was the size of the mugs! (I like a big mug for my tea and coffee)...and a pair of scissors might have been useful for the milk cartons
