I stayed with my two adult children. We found it super comfortable and really enjoyed how it was laid out. The downstairs living area was great. Huge L shaped sofa and we could chat and watch tv while we were cooking. Bedrooms were great. En suites and wonderful views in each room. We particularly liked sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down. Outdoor grill and kitchen were great to have and we had a really good BBQ on Easter Sunday. We didnt see any staff at any point, but the people at the end of the phone were helpful and attentive and helped me out with extra bedding quickly. Location was great. 10 mins drive from central Funchal and close enough to the motorway for getting out and about. We enjoyed feeling like we were in a community rather than being at an anonymous resort.

    No negatives.
