  The best host, the best hotel in Alba, great location

  wonderful stay in a beautiful historic building. The room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, and everything was clean and welcoming. Carlo is a generous, kind person and a perfect host. The breakfast he prepared was delicious. Fresh orange juice, great pastries made by Carlo. He recommended places to visit in the area and restaurants and even helped us get medical care. The location is excellent, and excellent parking. everything was fantastic

  Everything! The best hotel we stayed in Italy! Everything was not only super clean but also very historical and beautiful. The location was perfect too! The hotel owner was very kind and helpful from the beginning to the end. He also helped us for parking too. His breakfast was so tasty and beautifully prepared. You will feel like you’re living in a magical classic time. I’d come back to Alba just to stay at this hotel again! So impressed with all the furnitures, decorations, dishes, cups and terrace too. Highly recommended!

  5-Star host in a beautiful part of Italy.

  This was the twelfth visit to Italy for my wife and I. We have stayed in dozens of rooms in dozens of Italian towns, hosted by a wide variety of people. Carlo, our host in Alba, is one of the very finest we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He's a wonderful, friendly man who will do anything he can to make your stay better. His breakfast is outstanding, with fruits, meats, cheeses, fresh orange juice, coffees, yogurt and more. His wonderful eggs were great each morning, and his wife's homemade cakes are great too. There is a large sharded area with comfortable furnishings and music accessible by all guests. The room and bathroom are sparkling clean. The bed and pillows very comfortable. There is a nice big shower and double sink in the bathroom. The AC works very well. The room is on a second level, with big, easy outdoor stairway for access. Parking in old center Alba can be impossible, so having a private gated parking lot is a real plus. The apartment is large and peaceful. You would not know it when indoors, but exiting through the back gate opens directly onto the pedestrian-only streets of the old center of lovely Alba. We stayed five nights and really liked the fact that we didn't have to drive somewhere for dinner. Plenty of good restaurants and many small shops are less than 1 minute from your door. Alba is a very good base for visiting the many ancient castles of the area. It is a short drive into some of the most beautiful, scenic vineyards and landscapes in all of Italy. We loved our time here.
