  Everybody was friendly place was clean super organized. Check-in was smooth checkout with smooth food and beverages were good. The chef that was running the kitchen or the restaurant was really awesome. He was friendly. He'll take our order even though he was super busy. The Bartender made the most magnificent margarita. I mean, it was really great. He was fairly friendly once I was friendly. But very proficient very efficient, however and I don't have a concern with what he was wearing. I have a concern with the fact that it wasn't in good repair is closed and appear to be clean. He didn't appear to be dressed very professionally. I didn't have any concerns that he seemed to be dressed in clothes and in a style that made him feel comfortable and unique. I didn't have a problem with that. I had a problem with he just looked very well put together hair, combed shirt, clean, perhaps tucked in jeans that weren't super worn. I would've just like to have seen them be a little bit neater.

  A very convenient location probably contributes to high prices but rooms are very nice!

  Room was lovely, roomy, clean. Pricey but very nice.

  Breakfast options aren’t great.

  We would stay here again. Great location!

  The location was excellent. We were there for an event at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. We could see the park from our room, so walking to the event was a bonus. Noticed other restaurants in the immediate area as well. We didn’t adventure much as we were just there for the one night. Would choose again for any events in that area. Room was clean and spacious for 4 of us. Beds comfortable. Pool table in the lounge was a plus. Food service on-site was nice after coming in late from event. Grabbed snacks and hot cookies before heading up. Kitchen offered pizza & other food too. Staff was friendly.

  We arrived in the room and the TV was not working. Tried to call the front desk from the room phone & that didn’t seem to work either. There was a cleaner next door who didn’t speak English, but was able to communicate enough for her to call her manager who spoke some English and called the maintenance guy. He quickly determined the issue -cable not connected & had to go through the drawers to reconnect. Despite language barrier the staff I was in contact with responded within a timely manner. The pool was out of service, which was a disappointment for the 2 teen boys with us. They were looking forward to swimming. When I asked about it I was told it was being cleaned… I guess that takes all day/night. Shower pressure is low. Not that big of a deal, but a train did come through the area early morning blowing the whistle. We are early risers anyway. Not sure if that is an everyday occurrence.
