  A Masterclass in Bait-and-Switch, Deceptive Practices, and Terrible Management

  If you value your consumer rights, your money, and your peace of mind, avoid Alphabet Apartments at all costs. My one-month stay here was a nightmare of continuous non-performance, gaslighting, and total lack of basic hospitality. Here are the documented facts of my stay: • THE BAIT AND SWITCH: I explicitly booked and paid for a 70 sqm Ground Floor apartment that guaranteed a balcony. Upon arrival, there was no balcony. When confronted, management falsely claimed it was just a "general building amenity." I had to involve Booking.com support, who independently verified my screenshots and confirmed the balcony was indeed on my specific room listing. Instead of taking responsibility, the host retroactively altered the listing to hide their error. • THE COERCED DOWNGRADE: Instead of honoring the contract or offering a refund for the missing amenity, they subjected me to weeks of administrative silence. They wore me down until I had no choice but to accept a massive downgrade to a significantly smaller studio just to access the balcony I had already paid for. • ZERO ACCESSIBILITY & GASLIGHTING: Management was fully informed of my documented disability (Autism/ADHD) and need for predictability. They ignored simple accommodation requests (like an NFC tag for easier access). Later, they fabricated a claim that I wanted to "smoke inside" the apartment simply because I asked for clarification on the building’s standard balcony smoking policy. The continuous stress and manipulation triggered severe autistic burnout. • TERRIBLE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE: Despite paying a €150 cleaning fee, the apartment was dirty upon arrival with a damaged sofa and streaked surfaces. The indoor temperature reached an unbearable 27°C, and their "solution" was to tell me to "open the balcony door"—for a unit they knew didn't have one.

  Stayed here for a month. The apartment was good overall — clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for living. The location was convenient. No major issues during my stay
