The spacious living area. The cooking facilities. The gas fire.
Basin in bathroom — nowhere to put your moisturizer etc.

Lovely, sunny unit.
Road noise was a bit of a pain and the smell from the local takeaway was overwhelming at times.

The property itself was actually a little tricky for us to find because we couldn’t see an “Alpine Adventurer’s Abode” sign anywhere, despite the address being correct. But I called the staff manager and she was extremely kind with her time and helped me finish the online registration form to get the room key code. She was very helpful! The unit itself was lovely - two floors, nice rooms, clean, everything was new and well taken care of. We wished it was a little closer to town, in Wanaka, but the market, takeaway and bakery being right next to us was great!
