Very successful and interesting stay with excellent personal service from welcoming staff
Very helpful staff on reception and in the bar who spoke good English. Spectacular views from lounge and bedroom - will be even better when terrace upgrade completed shortly. Flexible hours for meals. Had one very good evening meal with excellent Georgian red wine! [Rooms Hotel had been recommended but their service was very poor/non-existent in their beautiful large terrace!] Convenient location away from noisy tourist activities
Bedroom was very cramped and basic with few facilities. No storage facilities for clothes - we stayed 5 nights and had to keep changes of clothes in our suitcases. No safe for valuables or instructions on use of TV. Noise from kitchen extractor/generator right under our window until 10 pm or later. Not enough space on both sides of double bed for access or side table with light. So poor lighting in bed on one side. No local map available to use or consult for location of restaurants, museums etc. Would have appreciated a shuttle service to/from Kazbegi main centre as hard walk up hill.

Great views, great value for money
What is there not to like? The rooms with view over the Gergeti Trinity church are the ones to go for. The scenery is stunning . Service by the reception staff was always very friendly. The hotel as its own restaurant on the ground floor. Nice and elegantly decorated. Serving breakfast, buffet-style from 8 am. Also lunch and dinner. This is great in case you don’t want to walk all the way to the main road to find a place to eat and then walk up the hill afterwards.
If you have suitcases to walk up the hill, it is a bit of a trek. Apart from this nothing else

Schöne große Zimmer, bei uns sogar mit Bergblick. Das Personal war super freundlich und das Restaurant im Hotel ist auch zu empfehlen! Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück.
Es gibt keinen Schrank o.Ä. im Zimmer, was uns für zwei Nächte aber nicht gestört hat.
