    If anyone needs a place to stay in St.John’s, you cannot do better then The Alt!

    Location is amazing. View of the harbour was great. Breakfast in the cafe was delightful - but crowded. Lobby had a lovely feeling - very welcoming, very friendly and relaxed - very St. John’s

    I stayed in an accessible room with my mother who uses a walker. The automatic door didn’t open as it should - which wasn’t a big deal since I was there to open and hold the door.

    Okay

    The property was in a great location for exploring the downtown sights. Hotel was clean. Staff were wonderful!

    For me the room features and especially the various push buttons to access various room controls were unnecessary, not instinctive and often a frustration. It took 10 minutes to figure out how to get out of the bathroom! (I know, I’m old🙄). All in all, I never felt comfortable in the room.

    A great stay!

    The hotel is very centrally located right down on the water front, so it’s close to everything. The staff are wonderful, and the rooms are attractive and comfortable.

    The room was very small for the price.
