Great Location…
The location is really good. It was close to restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, and it was about a 10 minute walk to the main Square. We always felt safe. There was a fantastic bakery across the street, and, if you wanted a really good meal, and didn’t want to cook, the Colosseo Hotel was about a block away…it had a fantastic restaurant that was very reasonably priced. Also, Otto Restaurant, about two blocks away, had a fantastic breakfast! The host was very communicative and was available to help when we had a difficult time understanding how to use the TV or had a plugged up sink.
While this is out of the hosts control, we would be remiss if we did not say that there was a fair amount of noise. There was street noise…the apartment next-door had a dog that barked and howled for a good part of the day…and the people who lived upstairs seemed to enjoy rearranging their furniture on a consistent, day in, day out basis, sometimes as late as 10 PM. Again, this was not the host‘s fault, but it is something of which to be aware. As far as maintenance and upkeep, the bathroom’s overhead shower was missing. The host told us twice he would replace it, but never did. While there was a handheld shower wand, it would’ve been nice to have the overhead shower replaced.

Perfect!
Location and apartment is amazing. Really quiet but in the center of the city and close to everything you need. Shopping centre and bus stop just outside the apartment. The host was really friendly and helpful. Really recommend for a stay in Tirana
