    Nice small hotel near the waterfront

    Reasonable size room with high ceiling, good A/C and ok wifi (could be stronger), good shower room and comfortable bed. Breakfast can be delivered to your room or taken downstairs. The neighbourhood is just off the main centre, two blocks from the waterfront and ferries, with many local dining options. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient.

    The breakfast arrangement is not ideal: you make your selection on an app by 7pm the evening before, from a fairly limited selection - it works, but not my preference. The hotel and town centre are located several km from the train station - be aware that there is no bus link on Sundays and taxi fares rise accordingly: I was charged €25 for a 5 min drive.

    Helpful host

    Rocco was so helpful and kind. He met us early at the hotel so we could check in and leave our luggage (we were also lucky and our room was ready) This meant we could go to Vulcano for the day and not worry about what time we came back. The liberty lines hydrofoils are a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is really clean and comfortable, wex wished we had stayed longer to fully explore Milazzo!
