A lovely village which we always enjoy very much, but next time in another property.
We have stayed at the property before and have always found the management and staff very pleasant and helpful. The property is in a perfect location. The apartment we stayed in was extremely comfortable and very well equipped, although I had not realised that our appartment was on the top floor, with a lot of stairs to negotiate.
When I went to check in I found the manager fairly unwelcoming, especially as we had stayed at least four or five times either at the hotel itself or in one of the apartments. There was barely a smile from him and also we went to the apartment block where we had stayed previously, not knowing that we were in another one nearby, so we had to return to the hotel for directions. He should have told us exactly where when we checked in. We very much like the village, but we are reluctant to return to the Altkolnischerhof because of their casual attitude. When you come back to a hotel you like and where you have stayed various times, it is strange to be treated so casually.

Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast. Fresh and lots of choice. Comfortable bed. Nice towels in bathroom.
Horrible pillows. Too soft and floppy.

I liked the location and how big the apartment was.
Pillows were very uncomfortable. Need bigger trash cans as well.

Lage, Ausstattung, Check in und Check out sehr unkompliziert
Altglas im Küchenschrank, Gefrierfach vereist, Bad lange nicht richtig gereinigt. Haare der Vorgänger noch überall auf dem Boden verteilt. Spiegel, Ablagen etc. sehr staubig. Fernseher konnte trotz Kompatibilität nicht mit dem Internet verbunden werden.
