    We had a lovely time and would be happy to do it again

    Very homely. Great location

    No globe in the bedside light. One side of the electric blanket didn’t work. The pillows need replacing as they are flat as pancakes. Only 3 pieces of kindling makes it very hard to light a fire the second night

    A good choice for a stay in Waikerie

    We stayed at the Bookkeeper’s Cottage rather than Amalie’s Cottage - the owner owns both properties and needed to swap us over to the Bookkeeper’s Cottage as Amalie’s Cottage was unavailable. The Bookkeeper’s Cottage was well appointed and very close to Waikerie’s shopping district.

    The only minor detraction was a deep base noise from a noisy extractor fan at the hotel venue across the road. However, this abated when the hotel shut down for the night.

    Great little cottage with nice outdoor areas - front & back, short walk to shops and river. Would stay again!
