    Property attempted extra surcharge which I complained about and they retracted.Comfortable apartment

    Apartment was comfortable and clean, good view of river. Hosts were responsive with messaging during my stay and were always polite throughout.

    Property tried to charge me an extra 'card surcharge' after I had completed the booking on booking.com. I complained to booking.com and owners quickly retracted the charge saying it was an 'error'. They will also ask for your confidential ID and credit card details via a non-secure method which I wasn't comfortable with but had no choice. There is NO reception in this apartment block so picking up keys etc is a bit inconvenient through a drop-box at a nearby convenience store.
