    Oradea stay

    Right from the start I had mixed feelings because of the check-in procedure, but I got over it. It doesn't seem too much, but it creates some tension. Finding the parking place was an adventure for us even if the instructions seemed clear enough. The access to the apartment is easy and straight forward. Inside you will get only what you see in the photos... Nothing to make you feel welcome - I do not mean gifts like water, candies, chocolate and so on, but things that you do not necessarily want to buy when you rent an apartment during your holiday. The place is clean-ish, I did not feel impressed about it, but neither was bad. The bed is comfortable enough. The fridge seems tired as it took about 2 days to really cool the food. Overall, the apartment which I am sure was premium starts to show its age and needs an intervention from the owner - I already suggested it and seemed open to look into it. Probably the next guests will tell you about it. The positive is that you can get an invoice and the area is quiet, you get your own parking place and everything is close and worry free if you go by car.

    Oradea was my dream town for many years, so my expectations were too high for this visit: I did not like the distant communication with the host, although they were polite. I did not feel welcomed. You should pack something for the mosquitos. The cleaning should be a little better. The cooking hood does not have an exterior vent so all the heat and steam basically stays inside.
