  Second vist and looking forward to our third

  Our one bedroom pool villa was spacious and well appointed. Lunch around the pool and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Staff are friendly and most of the time efficient. Muti does a great job keeping you informed.

  Since my visit last year the ‘continental’ part of the breakfast buffet has somewhat depleted which is ashamed as the rest of the F&B offerings are great. Some homemade muesli, cheeses and cold cuts wouldn’t go amiss. At the moment it’s lacking. Also why provide a bag of plunger coffee in the pool villa but no plunger or drip filter equipment🤔

  Lovely resort, ,clean ,great food and fantastic staff, we had a balcony room overlooking the reef area with a big day bed to relax on , great pool and surrounds, big beach to walk along, some nights there was live music to watch the sunset too . They have fresh fish on a Friday caught by the local fishers, you can also watch the locals fishing out on the reef at night using traditional methods of catching their seafood. Big mention to Dian who is training in becoming a waiter at the resort, we found him to be a great future employee for the resort with his big smile and greetings each time we met him . He would make sure that we were enjoying our food and our stay at the resort and always happy to answer any questions . In fact all of the staff were awesome and would definitely recommend this resort and it,s location.

  Für uns zu viel Club Atmosphäre für das chillige Lombok

  Der Blick beim Frühstück ist wirklich toll. Vorallem weil im Meer gleichzeitig zahlreiche Schildkröten sind und man sie beobachten kann. Tia und Dian im Team fanden wir sehr toll, weil sie es geschafft haben, trotz allem noch sehr natürlich zu agieren und ehrlich herzlich.

  Lombok ist ja sehr ruhig und gechillt in dieser Gegend. Dieses Hotel fühlt sich sehr strange an, da es fast wie ein Club Urlaub ist. Jeden Abend ein Spezial Grill, der so nah bei den Zimmern ist, dass der ganze RAuch echt störend ist, live musik auch direkt laut hörbar in den Zimmern, irgend eine Parade mit Bullen (die man sonst auf den anderen Stränden einfach ganz natürlich beobachten kann!!). Die Betten am Pool komplett nah aneinander geschlichtet. Beim Frühstück wird man alle 5 Minuten vom Personal angesprochen, was echt zu viel ist (bei einem Frühstück kam jemand von der Lobby, der Restaurant Manager, 3 Angestellte aus dem Restaurant, man kommt vor lauter Fragen beantworten gar nicht zum Essen gefühlt). Das Personal kann natürlich nichts dafür, weil es dazu angehalten wird. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer und beide haben sehr unangenehm gerochen. In einem waren wir nur eine Nacht, hätten dort nicht länger sein wollen. Es roch wirklich extrem modrig, auch für ein Hotel am Meer. Wir hatten davor zig Unterkünfte ohne diesen Geruch. Wir haben uns gar nicht wohl gefühlt und waren froh, dass wir nur kurz dort waren. Wenn man Club Urlaub Atmosphäre möchte, dann mag man das Hotel wahrscheinlich.

  Lombok tourist areas are very busy and noisy, but at that Amber hotel, it is a private secluded beach area with no street noise at all. The young staff gave exceptional service and were extremely polite and friendly. A special thanks to the following staff who treated our group like we were family. Miss Sri, Miss Muti, Miss Laely, Mr Muhal, Gian, Diaz, and Pandy. Our waiter Pandy also entertained us with his wonderful voice and guitar on many evenings. One of the best musicians in Indonesia and if any music manager is looking for new talent I would strongly suggest you visit the Amber hotel to witness his musical ability. Our group will certainly visit again due to the amazing ambience and exceptional service. Well done to the whole team. Rick, Roxanne, Leigh, and Viki.
