    Nice old inn - great food, staff, and location, but very dated room

    Nice old inn in a beautiful location- really nice and helpful staff - excellent food and good beer - good overall atmosphere

    Our room in the cottage was very tired and needed an upgrade. Also there was no separate shower - just a bath with a sit down shower attachment

    Nice pub, nice evening meal and cooked breakfast. Room was okay given that the property is 'historic'. It is a bit tricky if you stay in the separate cottage building where there are several bedrooms as the staircase is rather narrow and steep. The bedroom itself was a good size although it was located in the roof space with a pitched ceiling etc. Conveniently located for my break of long journey to Cornwall.

    Beautiful old building with very friendly staff presenting a good selection of drinks and good food

    Decor old and tired, poor shower over bath provision
