Horrible! Worst place from dozen of places we've stayed in Europe

Contracted amenity not delivered! We spent three months in Europe, and this was the worst of the dozen places we stayed. The AC did not work properly, leading to heat exhaustion, and water leaked into the lower apartment. The downstairs neighbors harassed us to get inside if not they will call the police or fire department, but we told them to contact management directly. We called Booking.com support and agreed the conditions were unacceptable and authorized our early departure after one miserable night. To make matters worse while we went out quickly, the manager entered our paid, private apartment without our permission. When I calmly asked why he entered without authorization, he lost his temper, screamed at me, and called me names in Italian based of my Asian descent —thinking I wouldn't understand. As retired professionals, we expect basic respect, privacy, and adult communication. His hostile behavior was completely unacceptable for someone in customer service. Deflecting accountability in their reply by fabricating a "noise" issue that never existed instead of addressing a broken AC and unauthorized entry is dishonest. I am an easygoing person, but I will always stand up for the truth when mischaracterized.
