    Lovely cottage, lacking the usual touches expected, but this did not really tarnish our stay

    Lovely house in a great location for beach and access into Amble

    There were no spoons at all in kitchen which is odd....no desert or teaspoons. Made eating porridge with a fork interesting! It would have been nice to have been left some coffee and milk....there were 4 teabags though! Some shower and bath gel would also have been expected but nothing there in any of the bathrooms.

    Unable to sleep due to beds and cold.

    Lovely location with wonderful views.

    The house was freezing cold on arrival and heating must have been off for a long time as floors, toilet seats and beds were extremely cold. Beds were very uncomfortable with springs pushing through, very flimsy pillows and thin duvets. No toiletries like hand soap. Some dirty items in kitchen cupboard. Fence too low in garden to let dog out safely.
