  Serious wasp problem and disappointing handling of our complaint

  Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a persistent wasp problem. Live wasps were entering the property daily, and there appeared to be a nest by the balcony, which meant we could not use that part of the accommodation. We had to keep the windows closed and place towels around them to try to stop the wasps getting inside. We also found rat droppings in the balcony. There were five of us, but we ultimately had to sleep together in one bedroom because the wasps were not entering that specific room. This caused considerable anxiety, disrupted our sleep and prevented us from using the accommodation as booked. We reported the issue during our stay and gave the property an opportunity to rectify it, but no effective solution, room change or alternative accommodation was offered. The support provided did not resolve the problem. We were initially asked to solve it on our own by using the pest spray and climb up on the ladder… which goes against health and safety. The picture below shows said ladder where one of the staff members used in the end. There were also insufficient sunbeds and umbrellas for the number of properties sharing the pool, and the owner’s behaviour around the communal area made us feel uncomfortable, swearing at staff and walking around disrespecting the occupants. After the stay, we raised a formal claim through Booking.com. Despite being given another opportunity to address the situation, the property declined compensation and did not provide Booking.com Customer Service with any meaningful explanation addressing the evidence we submitted. The most disappointing part was not simply that a problem occurred, but how poorly it was handled both during and after our stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property at all! Do not book.

  בית קסום בלב יער. מרווח מאוד עם איבזור מלא כולל כל דבר שחלמתם עליו. הבריכה בחוץ ענקית ויפיפיה. חשיבה על כל פרט ותשומת לב לפרטים הקטנים. מארחת אדיבה

  כדאי להביא כיסוי עיניים למי שישן בספת הסלון כיוון שבסלון אין וילון מונע אור שמש.
