    Great location but a bit tired and in need of a refresh

    Very convenient location near Hakata station, and good breakfast selection. Staff helpful with temporary storage of luggage. Availability of western-style face cloths.

    Only stayed here because it was the meeting place for a group tour - generally I prefer a smaller, less formal hotel. The hotel and rooms are dated, and its old-school processes are not particularly efficient (e.g. checking passports and requiring form-filling both when we dropped bags off early and again when we actually checked in; manually date stamping breakfast vouchers).

    Excellent breakfast , very staff and helpful. Room let it down.

    The breakfast was superb and actually the best we had in Japan. Location excellent. Staff friendly

    The room we were given was in need of refurbishing and very outdated. It was small and dingy and not worth the price we paid.
