    The landlord is impressively kind, which is great, though I suspect it might be a strategy to distract from the lack of cleanliness in the apartment.

    We encountered a major hygiene problem in the apartment, dealing with several huge cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen. The landlord was unable to help because they live far away and could not arrange for any cleaning service. We couldn't find another accommodation at that hour, so we had to stay in the living room with the lights on and we didn't feel comfortable at all and were unable to sleep before our early flight. Most disgusting stay ever!
