Perfect quiet, clean cottage on a small holding.
The host was kind and generous. We really appreciated being able to get eggs and bread as we had only just got off the ferry and it was late at night when we arrived (no shops past on the way).

very clean cottage well appointed and good to be able to go for a walk
everything in the cottage was as expected the owners were very friendly and helped change dates at the last moment we like quiet places away from traffic noises
the living area was all hard flooring a couple of rugs would have made it cosy also some milk left in the fridge would have been nice as nearest shop is a few miles away

amazing luck to find this available at 7 pm that day...
shower in bath is impossible to use for a standing shower - and adjusting hot-cold taps to get not scalding / not freezing takes forever. a place of this quality needs a walk-in shower. address should not say 'Bargrennan' which is a long way away across country - just say Newton Stewart

We will be back
Absolutely everything. One of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in. A nice deep bath to have a relaxing soak in. Comfy sofas to chill out and relax on. Everything you need in the kitchen but more than anything else the peace and tranquility is priceless. Anne and her husband are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We will absolutely be back for more rest and relaxation.
