  Het beviel heel goed. We had a great time

  We had a great time last week ( October 2026) . The appartment is very big and has everything you need. Supermarket is very close and 24/7 supermarket around the corner. The bus-stop is also very close. The location Birkirkara is central Malta, so perfect to go to Valetta and the South or to the beaches at the North. Also the neighbourhood is very quiet. The pool is very nice to relax and has a great view over Malta.

  Er is geen electriciteit in de badkamer bij een spiegel. Onhandig met fohnen en scheren. No electricity with the mirrors in the bathroom, for shaving and fohning. De schoonmaak en schoonmaak van oven en borden, bestek, pannen zou iets beter kunnen. The cleaning of the apartment and oven an kitchen materials could be a bit better.

  Nice apartment but underwhelming experience overall

  The apartment did look nice inside with a spacious living room and was clean

  Water in the pool smelt and left a weird smell on our swimming gear, needed more maintenance however the host claimed it was maintained every day. We didn’t use the pool because of this. It is also a shared pool which isn’t that clear before booking. Main bathroom bathtub filled up with water after showering due to a blockage which they never tried to rectify, despite the host saying they would send someone to sort it. The 6th bed is a very small child sized bed stored away in a storage room, so bare that in mind if you are booking for 6 adults who want individual beds. You are also not allowed any guests at any given time, which was only specified to us after we booked and right before our trip started…

  Some important equipment for cooking was not available. No sharp knives and toaster didn’t work

  For a group of lads who want party life and relaxtion most definitely an option however would not recommend for a couple

  Very spacious apartment in a lovely, quiet area of Malta. If you’re renting a car, it’s conveniently located and close to everything you need. The host was extremely nice, helpful and accommodating, and even allowed us a late check-out to suit our late flight home, which we really appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, although we did feel the property was slightly overpriced for what it offered.

  If there are guests staying above you, be aware that you can hear quite a lot of noise from upstairs. The overall cleanliness was average, with certain areas noticeably more in need of attention, particularly inside the presses and in the corners of the rooms. The air conditioning was generally effective, although the unit in the bedroom with the en-suite was quite poor and kept switching on and off, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably throughout the night. If you’re travelling from a cooler climate such as Ireland or England, you may find the change in temperature takes some getting used to and myself and my guests have felt ill leaving this! The pool area is lovely and a great place to relax, although it would definitely benefit from some sort of shade, especially during the hotter parts of the day.
