    Spectacular location, very welcoming staff, beautiful hotel

    The food was amazing at this hotel, the restaurant, bar and hotel reception staff all lovely. It is a beautiful hotel in a spectacular location with stunning views and if you are into golf, the golf course & golf shop is an added bonus! Interior design is very tasteful and there is a lot of interesting artwork in the hotel. Rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. Our room was on the small side though, our friends had a much larger room and kingsize bed, so make sure you double check your booking if room and bed size are important. We had golf course and front entrance view. Even better would be golf course and beach view. We highly recommend this hotel, it was perfect and met our expectations, we were well cared for here! There is plenty of free carparking onsite, plus a helicopter landing spot. Taxi service on the island is good too for whisky distillery tours, they collect from and return you to the hotel.

    Mobile phone internet was a bit patchy to hotspot to our laptops for working, but internet is fine if you are comfortable using hotel wifi. I would prefer walk-in shower (with no bath), rather than a shower bath which is difficult to get in and out of, plus is a slipping hazard.
