The villa and grounds have a massive footprint with excellent facilities. The pool looked well maintained and clean though a little too chilly in October to try! A small football pitch a boules/bocce court, gym equipment amonstst the outdoor facilities to keep you entertained. Indoors a massive lounge and nice sized bedrooms with two separate bathrooms one upstairs and down. Several places to dine inside or al fresco. Complimentary coffees and other nibbles. It is within walking distance (more later) of the lovely hilltop town of Ceglie Messapica with an array of quality inexpensive resaurants and splendid views back across the Adriatic. The town is an excellent central hub to reach all the major Puglian sigghts. Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignano de Mare are all within easy reach with Lecce and Matera within 90 minutes drive. The host was attentive and responsive to our communications. She spoke little English but Google Translate made conversation relatively pain free. All in all we had an excellent time.
The route for pedestrians to the town is a little tricky. It is a 10-15 minute walk uphill on roads without pavements so some care needs to be exercised. The short lane to the property is quite narrow. In a large car some care needs to be exercised getting in and particularly out of the electronically operated gates to avoid kerbs (or not)!

Proprietaria gentile e disponibile...villa meravigliosa e pulitissima, siamo stati per 3 giorni e la proprietaria ci ha consigliato posti dove andare a mangiare veramente buoni con qualità prezzo ottima, lo consiglio vivamente tutta la villa ha ogni confort. Consigliato anche per la posizione strategica...torneremo sicuramente grazie per averci fatto passare dei giorni meravigliosi
