    Echt een aanrader!

    Prachtig ingericht appartement op loopafstand van de liften en winkels. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaren. Van alle gemakken voorzien, we hebben een top week gehad!

    Heerlijk vakantie gehad, mooie uitvalbasis! Mayrhofen is een knus dorpje!

    Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie in Mayrhofen gehad. Wij hadden voor 2 weken appartement 3 geboekt. Het was een zeer mooi en schoon appartement. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en de eigenaren vroegen meermaals of alles naar wens was. Schone handdoeken/keukendoeken etc. wordt snel geregeld. Er is zelfs de mogelijk dat tijdens je verblijf het appartement wordt schoongemaakt. Dat is een enorme luxe! Eigenaren zijn ook heel flexibel. Toen wij last minute aangaven een dag eerder te vertrekken vanwege de voorspelde extreme hitte, was het geen probleem dat wij bijvoorbeeld glas voor de glasbak, afval in de prullenbak en wat koelproducten, die we vanwege de hitte niet mee konden nemen, in de koelkast achterlieten. Er werd enorm meegedacht! Mayrhofen heeft verder een erg leuke hoofdstraat vol met winkeltjes en terrasjes. Een lunch of ijscoupe bij Kostner is echt een aanrader. Verder kun je met de Penkenbahn en Ahornbahn de berg op en mooi wandelen. De Wolfsklamm is relatief in de buurt en echt de moeite waard! Verder is het aan te bevelen om Swarovski Kristallweltenmuseum, het dorpje Rattenberg, Hintertux gletsjer, Schlegeis stausee, Stillup Stausee, Rosenalmbahn in Zell am Ziller (tip: lunch bij Wiesenalm voor prachtig uitzicht) te bezoeken.

    Niets viel tegen! Wij zaten in het appartement met een hittegolf, uitzonderlijk weer natuurlijk! Met een hittegolf wordt het best warm in het appartement, er was helaas geen airco. Waarschijnlijk is airco ook eigenlijk nooit nodig. Met een hittegolf had het fijn geweest, maar ik begrijp dat de weersomstandigheden zo uitzonderlijk zijn dat enkel voor die week een airco laten plaatsen niet rendabel is.
