  Tür nicht geöffnet - viel Zeit und 113€ Verlust gemacht :-(

  Uns wurde der Zutritt verwehrt, obwohl wir vorab den ganzen Betrag per Kreditkarte bezahlt hatten! Ich buche seit ca.12 Jahren problemlos alles über Booking, drucke die Unterlagen aus und fahre zu den einzelnen Hotels/ Appartments etc.. Ich nutze keine App dafür und habe auf Reisen auch kein E-Mail Postfach. Als ich jetzt im Parkverbot in Bologna stand und in das Appartment einchecken wollte, war dieses geschlossen. Ich rief also die angegebene Telefonnummer an, wo mir eine nicht so nette Frau sagt, sie hätte mir schon vor Tagen geschrieben, dass ich Ausweiskopien schicken sollte und Geld per Paypal überweisen solle (für Kurtaxe). Da ich ganz sicher nicht meine Dokumente an irgendjemanden per WhatsApp oder ähnliches schicken werde, sagte ich, dass sie mich doch bitte ersteinmal in das Appartment lassen solle, damit mein Auto aus dem Parkverbot kommt. Sie hat sich verweigert und gesagt, solange ich nichts schicke, darf ich nicht eintreten. Das ist ein ungeheuerlicher Vorgang, denn wenn ich bezahlt habe, dann sollte ich auch eintreten dürfen. Ich habe im Nachhinein im Kleingedruckten gelesen, das dies wohl hier üblich ist, dass man im Vorfeld nocheinmal kontaktiert wird, das kannte ich bis dato halt noch nicht. Booking.com hat ja mittlerweile auch niemanden mehr, an den man sich mit Problemen wenden kann, also hat sich diese Plattform auch komplett erledigt - vielen Dank für nichts! PS: Wir sind dann mit unserem Verlust & schlechter Laune zum Gardasee gefahren, wo wir von sehr netten Gastgebern persönlich empfangen und aufgenommen wurden

  Location close to Stadium. Apartment only has 2 beds in studio.

  The location of the property was exactly what we were after. The property was also fairly modern and everything worked. Parking was easy to arrange with the property owners and though not secure (locked away) was perfect for our needs.

  The only real issue we had with the property was that it had advertised 3 beds and when we arrived it only had 2. We raised this with the owners and their response was not helpful, which was odd given they had been very helpful until that point. Their position was that we was wrong and even when I shared screenshots of the ad showing it stating 3 beds their response was to take it up with booking.com and that I could have booked their larger studio (next door) which had 2 bedrooms if I had needed more beds. It put a dampener on our stay as the property would have been absolutely perfect. Accepting that the listing had an error would have even helped but to make it our fault and being unwilling to try and help left a bad taste in our mouths.
